Started using Perl sophomore year of college in 1998, and was hooked. Upon graduating, became the instructor of Programming in Perl at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Resident "Perl Guy" at work, and former frequent contributor to comp.lang.perl.misc and perl.beginners.
