Joshua Gatcomb's job title is "Information Technology Specialist" which is a glorified way to say general problem solver. One of his favorite ways to solve problems is through Perl which he does as often as he can.

He believes strongly in giving back to the Perl community by answering questions and spreading advocacy in various forums. While he only has one module on CPAN (Tie::Hash::Sorted), he also helps out with Perl 6 by contributing tests, code examples, utilities, and bug reports.

His personal life is all about his family. He is the loving husband of Jean and proud father of Jasmine and Alyssa. He is a Christian.
